I tried drawing with brush pens. It was not easy.

After doing some stuff that wasn’t totally crap — I squeeze this turd out. They can’t all be masterpieces, right? Looks like he’s about to say something smug.

One bad mark led to another. I just went overboard with the black lines on this one.

A real April Fool.

Not as confident in these lines as the night before, but I’m pleased overall.

These Faber-Castell XS ink pens are fragile, but the results are pretty nice.

I’m thinking that my best bet is to start with small pens and move upward as the drawing progresses.

I feel okay with certain aspects of this drawing. I went with a smaller tipped pen, which I think made me slow down and focus on my marks.
